Welcome to Fertility & Endocrine Associates

Infertility represents a complex physical, spiritual and emotional crisis andaffects all areas of a person’s well-being. Beginning the infertilityinvestigation (also known as the basic or advanced “work up”) with a newpatient and her partner is much like opening a mystery novel. It is mosteffective to begin with the simple evaluation (often conducted by thegynecology provider) and move to the more complex.

Because of the myriad causes of and contributing factors to infertility, it is important to use a process of elimination, determining what the problems are not in order tobetter understand what they are. The causes of infertility are almost equallyshared by conditions affecting the female versus the male. Often, there arecombined factors that are contributing to a couple’s inability to create andsustain a healthy pregnancy. Identifying these factors, providing educationand consultation to the couple and developing a plan for treatment is the roleof the clinical staff of Fertility & Endocrine Associates.
