Endocrinologist. We were the first infertility program in Oregon, the first
successful IVF and GIFT program, and one of the first to develop and offer ICSI,
extended embryo culture, in vitro maturation, and preimplantation genetic
diagnosis to patients. While we utilize the latest proven fertility techniques,
patients also benefit from the experience our physicians acquire from our
extensive clinical research program.

IVF involves removing eggs and sperm from the body, combining them in the
laboratory to achieve fertilization, and then transferring the resulting embryos
back into the uterus through the cervix. Candidates for IVF include women with
tubal disease, unexplained infertility, and male factor infertility. An IVF
cycle involves: Ovulation induction, egg retrieval, fertilization and culture,
and embryo transfer.
